Lay's Records
We know that millions of people not only watch but also listen to Lay’s® commercials every day. We decided to use advertising soundtracks in a new way and launched project Lay’s Records to promote young bands using their tracks in advertising.
We announced Lay’s Records audition and selected 50 tracks of not-yet-known music groups to add all of them to the Lay’s® advertising. This is how we got 50 versions of one TV spot with different soundtracks. We broadcasted all of them during the national Lay’s® summer campaign. So it promoted not only Lay’s® but also dozens of musicians!
